The Data Model

BasaltCRM uses a B2B data model:

Accounts: Organizations or Companies. This is the parent entity.

Contacts: Individuals linked to an Account or standalone.

Understand how entities connect:

Lead: A cold prospect.

Contact: Created when outreach begins or manually.

Account: Created when a deal is closed or manually.
