Initial Setup & Configuration
Configure your workspace to match your business processes. A proper setup ensures your team can hit the ground running.
1. Company Profile
Navigate to Settings > My Account. This information appears on official documents like Invoices, Quotes, and Contracts.
Company Name: Your official business name (used on PDF exports). Logo: Upload a high-resolution PNG for branding. Address & Contact: Used for invoices and contract headers.2. Branding (White Labeling)
Customize the client-facing experience in Settings > Branding.
Logo: Upload your company logo for the navigation bar. Primary Color: Set your brand color for accents across the platform. Custom Theme: Choose from preset themes or create your own.3. Departmental Roles & Permissions
BasaltCRM features a granular, hierarchical permission system. Manage roles in Admin > Roles.
Platform Admin: God-mode access across all teams (reserved for platform owners). Super Admin: Full access across a specific team's resources. Admin: Full access to department resources. Member: Standard access to assigned resources. Viewer: Read-only access to view data.Each role can be customized at the module and widget level. For example, you can allow a Member to view the Dashboard but hide Team Analytics and Gamification widgets.
4. User Management
Invite your team in Admin > Users.
Assign users to specific Teams for full data isolation. Set their Role to control access levels. Use bulk actions to manage users at scale (list, column, and grid views available).5. Module Selection
Every module is permission-gated via the role system. Admins can enable or disable modules per role to keep the interface clean and focused. The full module list includes over 30 options — from Dashboard and CRM Core to advanced tools like Guard Rules and Approval Chains.
6. AI & Provider Configuration
Configure your AI and communication providers in Admin > AI Settings.
AI Models: Connect OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure AI, Google, Mistral, or DeepSeek. Email Provider: Configure Resend or AWS SES for outbound email. BasaltECHO: Connect your BasaltECHO wallet for AI voice agent integration. LeadGen Credits: Purchase and manage LeadGen credit bundles.7. Subscription Plans
BasaltCRM offers tiered plans that control feature access and capacity:
FREE: Core CRM features with limited AI credits (50-100 accounts). BASIC: Extended features with standard enrichment (500-750 accounts). PRO: Full platform access with agentic deep research (2,500-3,000 accounts).
